The Ferndale Community Resource Center supports individuals and families by addressing immediate crisis needs, providing longer-term programs that promote self-sufficiency, and by linking social services in the Ferndale area.
The Resource Center provides:
- knowledgeable staff to help you navigate the systems
- Information & referrals for medical, housing, legal, food, clothing, home energy, immigration, and more
- Housing applications for income-based rentals
- Education & jobs center with public computer, printer, fax machine, and local job posting board. Volunteers are available to help with resumes and cover letters--call to set up an appointment.
- The Other Bank: personal hygiene and household cleaning supplies for families with children who are eligible for free or reduced lunches in the Ferndale School District. Open Tuesdays 10am-Noon during the school year.

- Shower vouchers for YMCA
- Drug assessments and counseling for teenagers by appointment through Catholic Community Services
